Event Coverage: BMWCC Trillium Nov. 20th, 2011 Autocross @Mosport DDT

So it's late November, typically everyone thinks us Canadians are probably tucked tightly away into our igloos or out feeding polar bears by now with our car locked away until spring. Nope! Not this group of BMW Car Club of Canada members, you wouldn't normally expect to see 50+ cars venturing out to the east end of the city to our famous Mosport track in Bowmanville, ON. Heck, most tracks in the area are probably closed for the season, but this group of car lovers braved the cold rainy morning to arrive at the track for 8AM. Their prayers  were answered, the car gods rewarded us with 12 degree weather (Celsius) and an abnormal amount of sunshine for this time of year.

Not a bad turn out for a late November track event!
Trailer'ed racecar? Are you sure it's late November?
Randy drove from the West end on his track setup, is he crazy?
Of course not! He set the fastest raw time of the day, beating 2nd place by over 6 seconds!
Scott, gameface ready.
Dumped wagon, summer tires & stoptech brakes, yup!
Steve's SR20 swapped e30 in track mode making sounds you don't expect to hear from an e30
Scott's too clean to be a winter beater e30...
John's famous 'gangster' lean...
I'm pretty sure Scott had a hard time deciding what car to bring. Hint: He left the 1M at home...
E46 M3 on Volk TE37s *Drool*
E46 M3, Kiwi Interior, BBS LMs. *Drool*
Just a family car, nothing to see here, move along... *Drool*
Sorry I got carried away with the BMW content, there were alot of other sweet rides I can't leave out.

Clean Civic, who knows what hides beneath the skin...
Clean RX-8
Not a bad turnout of Mazda's
Giles in his GS-R
This foxy minx showed up during lunch time...

There you have it, not a bad turn out for a late November track day eh?

I want to thank John, the BMW Club and all the volunteers for putting together such a great event! I should have made a better attempt to drag my butt out of bed to participate. I hope to see everyone before spring, hopefully there are a few events over the winter that brings us together.

As always, a full album is available here: Full Edited Album - http://razzi.me/a/6219
I do have over 300+ photos, if you don't see your car here, shoot me an email, I tried to get a few shots of everyone.

Thanks for tuning in for this edition of tdott.me - Toronto's Auto Blog's Event Coverage!
